Zyrtec is an antihistamine used to treat and relieve the symptoms of allergies and hives (urticaria). Some of the allergic symptoms that Zyrtec prevents are runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes.
How Taken
Zyrtec comes as a tablet to take by mouth. The general dose is a tablet per day. Zyrtec can be taken regularly or only when experiencing allergy symptoms. Follow your doctor`s directions. Do not take less or exceed the dosage prescribed by your physician.

Use Zyrtec with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Zyrtec should be used only by the patient for whom it has been suggested.
